PQ-01 v1.2 coupon
STL and 3MF geometry with holes, pins, thin walls, Z-height features, reference blocks and larger geometric checks.
Digital engineering pack
A controlled workflow for characterising dimensional behaviour, comparing printer configurations and recording an engineering qualification decision.
Professional-use licence included. Digital product; no physical coupon is supplied. £14.95 is the advertised VAT-inclusive checkout price where applicable.
Why it exists
Visual test prints can show that a printer is working, but engineering use needs a defined requirement, repeatable measurement and a recorded decision. PQ-01 Professional turns the existing PQ-01 coupon into a controlled qualification workflow.
The workbook intentionally leaves acceptance limits blank until you define the actual requirement basis. That might be a drawing tolerance, internal process target or project-specific acceptance criterion.
Inside the pack
STL and 3MF geometry with holes, pins, thin walls, Z-height features, reference blocks and larger geometric checks.
A controlled six-page procedure defining scope, preparation, measurement, acceptance and reporting workflow.
Five-page reference showing how the PQ-01 features are intended to be measured consistently.
Six configurable sample sheets plus summary calculations for error, repeat range, failures, MAE and overall status.
Editable Word qualification report with PDF reference copy for recording scope, configuration, evidence and disposition.
Validated three-configuration dataset showing how results can be compared and summarised.

Workflow
Set the acceptance limits and requirement basis before judging the print.
Slice the supplied coupon at 100% scale using the production profile you want to characterise.
Take three reseated measurements per feature using the supplied measurement guidance.
Review failures, MAE, repeat range and configuration differences, then record the engineering disposition.
Professional licence
The purchaser may print unlimited PQ-01 coupons for their own facilities and projects, use the workbook and report template in paid engineering work, modify internal copies and provide clients with derived results and completed reports.
The reusable source files themselves may not be redistributed, resold or bundled into another digital product.
Read the licence summary and full terms →Important scope
PQ-01 is printed by the process under test, so it cannot replace calibrated dimensional standards or traceable artefacts.
A single coupon or small sample does not establish Cpk/Ppk or long-term manufacturing capability.
The tool deliberately requires the user to define acceptable deviation for the intended application.
Passing PQ-01 does not certify a printer, filament, production process or final part for any regulated use.
FAQ
No. Acceptance limits are user-defined because suitability depends on the actual requirement, material, geometry, printer and process.
No. It is an engineering process-characterisation aid, not a calibrated metrology standard or certified reference artefact.
Yes. The Professional licence permits paid engineering work and completed client reports containing derived results. Reusable source files cannot be passed to a client unless they hold their own licence.
A slicer capable of STL or 3MF files, a spreadsheet application compatible with XLSX, and a PDF reader. The report template is supplied as DOCX and PDF.
No. Version 1.0 contains the controlled STL and 3MF coupon files. A mesh-to-STEP conversion has deliberately not been included because it would not provide a genuine native CAD model.
